Question 3: What have you learned from your audience feedback?
My initial audience research showed that people were open to seeing unconventional things on media texts. Some people even wanted to see something unique rather than conventional. By finding this out from my audience, I was able to push the unconventional aspects of all my media products to produce a media package that is solely based around what the audience wanted. The audience feedback which I did after completing my media products just proved how audiences are open to unconventional ideas. As well as this, through conducting this research it became obvious that even the audience members recognise conventions of a certain genre. I could see this particularly when it came to colour, all the audience members mentioned black and red. To please the audience, I had to listen to what they wanted carefully. I handed out my questionnaires to people in the age range of 15 – 21, this was specifically done as this is my target audience.
